REFUND POLICY

By placing an order with Vape On Main you agree to this Refund Policy in full. Please read it carefully before completing checkout. Because of the personal, consumable, and regulatory nature of vaping products, our refund policy is strict — and final.

1. ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Vape On Main does not issue refunds. Once an order is placed and accepted, payment is non-refundable except in the limited circumstances explicitly listed below in sections 3 and 4.

This applies to every product we sell — disposable vapes, e-liquids, pods, hardware, accessories, and hookah products — whether opened or unopened.

2. No Returns on Opened or Activated Products

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or store credit for any product whose seal, packaging, or tamper-evident wrap has been broken, removed, or tampered with, or that has been activated, charged, or used in any way. This restriction exists for health, safety, and regulatory reasons under Alberta consumer protection law and Health Canada vaping product regulations.

3. Defective Devices (Manufacturer Warranty Only)

Defective hardware may be eligible for an in-store one-time exchange — not a refund — provided that:

  • You report the defect within 72 hours of pickup or delivery via our contact page.
  • You return the product in-store with valid government-issued photo ID matching the original purchaser.
  • The defect is confirmed by our staff and falls within the manufacturer's stated warranty terms.
  • The product was not damaged by misuse, modification, drops, water exposure, improper charging, or normal wear.

If approved, we will exchange the device for an identical product or — if out of stock — equivalent-value store credit. Cash refunds are never issued.

4. Wrong Item Shipped or Picked

If we shipped or handed you a different product than what you ordered, contact us within 72 hours and bring the unopened incorrect item back in-store with your order receipt. We will replace it at no charge. Once you open the incorrect item it cannot be exchanged.

5. Cancellations

An order can be cancelled for a full refund only if it has not yet been picked, packed, or handed to the delivery driver. Email us through the contact page within 30 minutes of placing the order. Once your order has been processed, cancellation is no longer possible and this Refund Policy applies in full.

6. Delivery Refusal & ID Mismatch

To complete delivery you must comply with the ID requirements in our Terms of Service:

  • The recipient must present valid government-issued photo ID at the door.
  • The name on the ID must match the name on the order exactly (legal name, not a nickname).
  • The recipient must be 18 years of age or older.

If any of these conditions is not met — including but not limited to: no one at the address, refusal to show ID, ID name doesn't match order name, recipient is under 18, recipient is intoxicated or otherwise unable to provide valid consent — the driver will refuse delivery and return the order to our store.

In that case:

  • The order is forfeited.
  • The shipping fee is non-refundable.
  • The product cost is non-refundable (we cannot re-sell vaping products that have left our control).
  • You may forfeit the order in full, or pick it up in person at our Edmonton store with valid matching ID within 7 days. After 7 days the order is permanently forfeited.

7. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback through your bank or card issuer for a properly fulfilled order is considered a breach of these Terms. We will respond with evidence including order records, ID verification, and delivery confirmation. Customers who file fraudulent chargebacks may be banned from the store and reported to fraud-prevention services.
